Skid School in The Star

Pick up a copy of today's Toronto Star for a bonus Wheels section.

I have a feature with my kid - I took him to Ian Law's Car Control School for a day. The on-line photo shows him awake - the hard copy has a snap of him looking like a typical teenager in a classroom - struggling to stay awake...

  1. Ok, so now I am giving serious consideration to making both of my daughters take this course. But I think I will send DJ as the co-pilot. I get sick in 401 traffic!!! By far the worst passenger in the world.

  3. I took the course at the Skid Control School on Bronte a few years.
Having many years training in the Army, and 2 years of dirt track stock car under my belt, I wondered if there was anything they could teach me.
    I was wrong.
These are valuable courses, and a place where mistakes are measured in a few dented cones, not cars or people.
If you can afford it, do it.
