Oh wow... if you like David Sedaris then you would love Douglas Adams. I have a bound copy of his four Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy books. I would lend them to you if you had the time to read them. Not only would you love them (I think) but I bet you would incorporate some of his humour into your writing.
