    I think it makes it adorable. I'm sitting watching them blink at me right now.

    Maybe I'll write a column about blinking black cats. Just need another 597 words and I'm golden.

    I can help you there, remember those cat clocks with the swinging eyes and tail? The real ones are collectors items. The copies are smaller and they come in colours. A neighbor had a real one and it scared me to death. She'd offer us kids cookies in the kitchen but I never could eat with that 'thing' ticking away.

    When I first saw this my connection was slowing down, so the cats didn't blink. Then just as I looked away, there was a blink. I looked back, no blink. As I looked at something on my desk, I saw a blink out of the corner of my eye. Looked back, no blink. I stared at it and there was no blink. Just as I was beginning to doubt my sanity, the connection speed picked up and it started blinking like crazy.
