For Gilly

Or to be more accurate, from Gilly. Gilly is my little sister - soft 'g'.

I promised I'd not venture into the Jon & Kate debate, because, well, somebody has to show some dignity. And for the very first time ev-ah, I thought it might be me.

But Gilly has tagged the latest kerfuffle Jon & Kate Disintegrate.

And, well, I just love that and wanted to see it in writing.

  1. Any odds on Kate hooking up with Vince Schlomi (shamwow guy) ?

  2. I think she charges more than Shamwow is used to paying...though she might sell him one of her kids.

  3. oh great. That'll be the next obnoxious commercial - Yes, you too can own one of these sextuplets and if you call right now, we'll double your order.

  4. I never watched the show, but I find myself reading all the scuttlebutt about it anyway. I feel sorry for Kate with her startled cockatoo hair - Jon seems to be an overgrown child himself.

  5. Three posts in one day?

Staying out of the heat I see.

As for Jon and Kate...who the are they and why are they famous?

OK, MDB tells me its because they have 8 kids.

Does this mean we are gonna be subjected to the real poop (x8) for Octomom?

Egads, we've become voyeurs via cable.

  6. "Poor Jon" is the biggest wimp on the planet and Kate is the biggest control freak bitch. bad combo. the first time I tripped over this attrosity (sp?), I knew a divorce was imminent. Why would the guy finally decide to stand up to the bitch after 8 kids? Grow a set, pal.

  7. I believe that because of his present 'set' that's why they find themselves in this predicament...

  8. Oh, I tried not to make a comment either but found I just had too! (Kate’s hair-do and John’s little boy pout drove me to it! lol)

I love your Star column, “Motherlode” and am a faithful reader. If you want to check out my blog, with “The Fall of John and Kate Plus Eight” (June, 2009) go to www.blog.trishking.com

Thanks for your funny take on things – especially teenage boys. Eee-gods, I often wonder if I will survive my own son’s transformation from surly teenager to wonder-man, or will end up in the psych ward drooling? At sixteen I still have a way to go!
